This has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Ok, you need two pieces of information to put this whole thing in perspective, so this'll seem like a weird segue but it's all relevant.

I recently downloaded the 10 day trial thing of World of Warcraft (Don't actually need the trial, Private servers are legitimately free and the same damn thing). I figured with all the hype of MMO's, I'd go hypocritical once again, go back on my word and test an MMO. Meh, oh well. If I'm disappointed again, not too different.

Now, for the past few weeks, I've downloaded 18 or 19 virus scanning programs to try and get rid of this annoying virus on my PC. None have worked, most found out where my cookies are located and designated them as viruses, and the few exceptions that actually found a virus didn't get rid of it, and it was a virus I've seen before and I know has very little potential to seriously mess my system up. So, I gave up searching for virus scanners.

Well, the instant I booted up World of Warcraft, the dumbest thing happened. IT found the virus. A freakin video game that I didn't even pay for yet found a virus to warn me about account stealing. How the hell does that work out? Seriously....

Well.. Hellgate gave me a virus. You should consider yourself lucky that this game removed one.

It did remove the virus as well, right?

Nope, just scanned it. I was able to remove it with one of blizzards recommended programs.
