Just a Little About Me.

My name is Joshuah and I currently live in Bloomington Indiana. I was born in Bloomington and pretty much lived there my entire life. Currently, I'm attending Ivy Tech Community College right here in Bloomington to become a computer programmer.

Once I get my associates degree, or if I really feel daring, my bachelors, I plan on moving out of Bloomington completely. This town is a bit overpopulated, and we have two major colleges of Indiana right here in this town, making the population double for a good three months when school starts up in the fall and the winter.

Currently, I'm Nineteen years old (sadly no drinking privileges yet), and some of my hobbies include tabletop gaming, cooking, and writing.

I've taken two and a half years of creative writing classes as well as a full four semester class in a single year of cooking (it took the positions of four of my eight classes in high school). I enjoy cooking even if it's sometimes too abstract for my taste, and writing is rather difficult for me, hence the two and a half years. But as for now, I'm an all right well rounded individual in many fields of study.

I've never had one of those unreal huge ambitious dreams in life like being a rock star or an astronaut or something, but I guess you could say my dream would be to someday work for a graphics design company to design logo's, insignia's, fonts for names, and all other sorts of things like that for some top names out there. Maybe I can find a place like that up in Indianapolis, like working at Gen-Con once in a while while being a programmer elsewhere. Who knows, but I'm still going for computer programming as it comes rather easy to me. Most people usually have a left brain or right brain thought process, and the majority probably think abstractly and are problem solvers, they can come up with solutions to complex problems within a few seconds. I, however, need some logical basis, and algorithm's have always come easy to me; if it involves a formula of any kind, I can figure it out.

I've been diagnosed with a minor case of Asperger Syndrome, and I'm petitioning right now to get the doctor to take it off as the symptoms are so vague and faceless that there are certain cultures in the world who would want to act just the same as a person with asperger syndrome.

I'm not a huge fan of television or anime shows or anything, but I guess I do like a couple of shows out there; namely The Daily Show With John Stewart for shows and Bleach for Anime. As for music, I like Industrial and the occasional Dark Wave. For those that don't understand what those are, please do not assume that this is techno. Every time I listen to some of my music and someone else can hear it, they automatically assume techno, even though there's a base guitar, electric guitar, and a drum-set sound in it. Industrial is an Electronic experimental type of music, usually combining Electronica with Hard Rock (not metal though). My all time favorite band is KMFDM, but some of the others I like are as follows-

MDFMK, Celldweller, Razed in Black, Vopli Vidopliassova, Gravity Kills, Jesus on Extasy, Helalyn Flowers, Chemlab, Criss Angel, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Funker Vogt, Nine inch Nails, Pig, Mr Bungle, X-Fusion, Schwein, Buck-Tick, The Young Gods, MXD, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and Kidney Thieves.

I don't actually read much, but when I do, I enjoy classic fantasies; anything with a wizard and dragon in it, I'll read if it's a bit more mature than Harry Potter. I love video games, but don't like anything current sadly.

I like to go to convetions and gatherings and stuff, the three big ones I like are E3, Gen-Con, and Sturgis. E3 is the only one I have yet to go to, and for those that don't know what Sturgis is, it's a town in North Carolina that near mid august has a Bikers Week Convention. It's the biggest bikers convention in the world, and you would not believe how many bikes are actually there.

Gen-Con I've been to for the past 5 years in a row now, and it's just as awesome as it was five years ago (except for parts of this year when they unveiled 4th edition D&D).

Well, that's pretty much all there is to know about me. Sayonara!

You sound like a very accomplished individual (so far). I am 22 and I can't say I've done much except join the military and get married. Lol! I plan on getting out when my enlistment is up in 8 months and start my own buisness with video editing and HTML/XHTML. It will take a few years to get everything settled but I can do it. I even thought of getting into horticulture and sell small trees and shrubs, along with other landcapeing essentials like lighting and pond frames. Then eventually sell solar panals. Overall though, I would rather sit in front of a computer and make landscape designs.

Also I should add, I have Dwain Syndrome. Nothing I can do about it, but most people think its cool. Have you ever heard of personality types? Here is a link for the test>>>Click me<<<

It's only 4 questions and it is more a result of scientific research rather than a horoscope type quiz. After you take the test I say go to Typelogic.com. It has a better and more in depth discription of the types. It also has lists of famous people with the same type includeing presidents. My personality type is INTP (Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving)
