Waiting...
I've decided that one thing I really, really hate is waiting to hear back on something. For example.. I'm sitting here waiting for an email from a government ministry. Apparently I passed the first screening for a position I applied for and they are supposed to send me some kind of written exercise (in other words the second hoop in a series)..
Now, I'm trying to remember, if in the midst of selling our place here, buying a new one over there, and moving preparations.. if I caught the details correctly... *sigh*
I've left a message with the person responsible... waiting..waiting to hear back. God, I hope I don't look like too much of an idiot.

 | Gah... I really should have been better at taking at least one irritating axiom to heart.. The one about "patience is a virtue..." So, I have received the written exercise, and, in fact, it does not have to be in until the 20 th. at 4:30 PM... For some reason I had thought it was due today at 4:00, hence my worry about receiving it... *sigh* I feel like a total idiot now.. |
