The Flood Waters Rise

I should have been working on The Pitt the last couple of days, but instead I've been busy hooking up drainage hose, monitoring my sump pump and sewer drains, and moving everything of value out of my basement and up to the ground level.
As you may or may not already know, my hometown city of Fargo, ND may be the victim of a catastrophic flood later this week. The nearby Red River is expected to crest as high as 41 feet on Friday, which would be nearly a foot higher than the previous record from 1897. Thousands of homes in nearby communities are already under water, nearly every road in and out of the city is impassable, and now they're asking us here in Fargo to make at least some evacuation preparations.
It's possible that Fargo might dodge a bullet and the river will crest a couple of feet lower than the projections, but in the event that we don't, the news and updates here on GameBanshee will most likely slow down considerably until the flood passes and I'm able to devote my time back to the website again.
As long as I don't lose power or my Internet connection, I'll post another update once I know more.
