DVD Xchange

I have an R2 player modified for R1 discs. I can trade in unwanted R2's here in the UK but I can't trade in R1's (the shops can't resell).

I hate getting ripped of by shrewd bargain hunters - anyone interested in straight exchanges? UK post would be easier but I can manage the US too (my brother lives there and I go regularly on Holiday).

At the moment on R1 for exchange I have:

Payback, Quills, Saving Private Ryan (not the DTS version), Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Platoon, Enemy at the Gates, The Usual Suspects (no the special edition).

On R2 I have:

The Thin Red Line (1999).

Any offers? PM your available exchanges - I can't say I'll want them though.

Explain what the R2 R1 stuff is?

R1 is region 1 - USA and Canada. R1 discs only play on R1 machines.

R2 is Europe.

You can mod players to be multiregion.

to exchange,I've got Entrapment and Bowfinger on R1 and Good Morning Vietnam, Bonnie and Clyde, Blazing saddles on R2.

@ Gruntboy : Is your dvd player is a deck or rom ?

Why not use a region crack and watch all the dvds regardless of their region.
