Which Playable NPC from the BG series would you like to see in BG3?? - Page 4

Because the threat hasn't been closed, and we can talk about it all we want. Just because you have it made up in your mind that you "know" how things are..we can still answer the topic question of who would WE want to see in BG3.

And while I agree that none of the playable npcs from the previous games will likely play any part in BG3, it would be nice to have some kind of vague connections..maybe relatives of a couple npcs..not Minsc or Jaheira..because they came from other lands and not the Baldur's Gate area.

Cyric talks to you in the pocket plane in ToB. Because he's the one who killed Bhaal.

Well, I haven't played it in quite awhile so I forgot, heh.

And yes I did read the books in the game..I just forgot everything about everything

Only things I REALLY truly remember about the Baldur's Gate PC series is umm..

Baldur's helm had horns on it.
Nalia looks like Drew Barrymore.

And that's about it

They should have new playable NPCs. They should just have the old ones around so you can say hi to them. Except for Minsc and Boo. You gotta be able to have Minsc and Boo on your party, or its just not Baldur's Gate!

Now ive played all the baldurs gate's and i have loved every1 and i would think if black isle would make a 3rd baldurs gate they would have to include everything! I MEAN everything because every1's different and every1 would like to see there own best NCP, from start to finish they would have to add alot make it 1 of the biggest games ever. personaly my fav NCP would have to be hmmm (hard dicission) sarevok becuase of his DB assalt and shyt,but ive had some idea's in my head about the 3rd baldurs gate and some supreme packs black isle should make like bg3 "The god of Bhaal" or a game like wc3 u actullly can build maps and shyt and make characters and stuff be really kool to make ur own map and game!, and also a game which u can play as anyperson u want but u have to unlock them like elminister his like or drizzt or gorion or sarevok any guy bad or good and u get to play as them in there life or in the like of the child of bhaal( not as the child but like u can get the child of bhaal in ur party and wahat not). man it would be so kool to play as N E player even lengends and stuff or even a commoner lol.

well thats it if balck isle had to make a game of bg3 or stuff they would have to be it or i would be kinda confused or somthing but im glad i got that off my chest! if any of u kow black isle people and think ther intested pzl tell me i would love a job makeing **** at that place it been a dream all my life!! and some1 plz talk to me i get loney easliy!

Umm, Black Isle is dead. The company wouldn't just give you a job because you share a forum with someone who is friends with an employee.

BG3 is going to be a prequel, so you wouldn't be the son of bhaal, because they are not born yet (or they are extremely young).

I wouldn't mind seeing drizzt back for BGIII, even only for a few quests. Imagine what it would be like to control him fairly instead of hacks. Also I wouldn't mind seeing Minsc back. He was HILARIOUS!!! Remember the part where he says "The bigger they are, the harder I hit!!!" I would crack up if he had a new saying like "Spells don't hurt people, I do!!!" That's about all I want back. Oh and some new races like in IWD2. Like Aasimar and drow. It would be really fun with new races. I guess thats about it.

I would like to see everyone. And new characters of course too. I
think, that BG3 should be very, very big game with "tons" of hours
to play, maybe 200-300. I think there should be many ways how to start and how to end the game. But back to characters. I would love to have new
conversations with great Minsc, Sarevok, Korgan and other great
heroes of Faerun.

Being a prequel many NPC's could appear... any elf or drow for example... a young Gorion could be a nice choice... Anyway, as some of you have said, it would be better a game with more new characters.
I always miss to visit known places when I play a BG game. It would be really cool to revisit Nashkell or even Beregost. It doesn't need to be exactly the same... Or even a place taken from the NWN adventures! Wouldn't you like to walk through the streets of Neverwinter with your BG party?

This is probably going to be incredibly unpopular, but here goes... NALIA! I don't know what it is about her that I like, I just do. Always had her in my party in SOA and TOB. And Jahiera. I love Jahiera. And as Jahiera is an elf, or half-elf (I can't remember), isn't it concievable that maybe she could be around two generations ago? I'm not sure on how long elves are meant to live or whatever, just that its significantly longer than humans.

Who will die in the BG3?

Edwin,viconia,Imoen,minsc,Jaheira,Korgan have already followed you in BG1&2.

I think it......
Edwin was the most power mages in BG1&2.
Viconia had very high magic resisitance, its was very useful.
Imoen was my lover, I think many people loved her. She also had a good class.
Minsc was the most strengthen in BG1&2, and he had very interesting characteristic.
Jaheria had already lost his husband khalid in BG1. She was our lover in BG2.
.......

I think the your BG3's team will have some NPCs in BG1.
Such as Kivan,Coran,Branwen,SharTeel...... They were some useful NPCs in BG1
