Maybe you could just meet those retreated heroes from BG2 SoA/ToB...

A meating with the (SPOILER) Justice Fist (Minsc's New Compagny) (SPOILER) would be great . Or maybe just discover what happened to Viconia after ToB?

EDWIN + JAN!! Easily the 2 greatest characters to grace our screens!!

Although as Moltivar (sp?) mentioned, he's dead, and I forgot what happened with Jan.

A character who I'm now fond of is Coran, I've never used him till last week, and I've spent my time with him speeding accross the screens slaughtering everything solo with stealth

Why wasn't he in #2!?

Oh, also, Boo, to be honest I don't care about Minsc, but I'd be esctatic to see boo, he owns so much, giant space hampster!!

IIRC Coran had a cameo in BGII along with Safana. And since I'm posting I might as well reanswer the question with a NO.

I supose seeing some people would be nice, but as someome mentioned they would all be ridiculously powerful at that point, so beeing able to play with them would be meh.

Some people are also dead so no bringing them back either just on account that people didnt play BG1 BG2 or didnt bother to read their story at the end, i know i didnt read all of them but i wouldnt want to play and find someone and then hear that he was suposed to be dead at the end of BG1.

Yeah right. Tiax just wants you to think he is dead so he can more easily rule you. From beyond the grave. So to speak. In a manner of sense.

If you character is high leveled, you will maybe team up with legends(Drizzt,Elminster etc..) instead of Npc's from the two other games. What about seeing them as encounters?

My BG3 wishlist:

Minsc & Boo, with Minsc giving the "hampsters and rangers of the world unite!" speech at least every 10 seconds.

The female halfling theif from BG. "Someone needs a hug..."

Larry, Darryl and their other brother Darryl, also from BG (I still have their ee-lec-tron-ic signiture).

The mighty Bhaalspawn kobold and his furry cohorts from ToB. That chinchilla is just sooooo cute!

They would have to break into spontaneous conversation at the most inapropriate times (like when you just start to attack a bunch of dragons), and you'd need at least one of them to be a whining emotional mess (to fill the void left behind by Aerie).

The aim of the game would be to kill your own annoying party members...

The one encounter, the only one, that I really want is one with the Spectator Beholder.

Yep. Same one as in Sendai's Enclave too.

But he always turned out to be helpful, didn't he? At least he never attacked and could be talked into bargain with a bit of intelligence One of my most liked chars in the game.

Initially, I would say Minsc first and foremost (no game is whole without Miniature Giant Space Hamsters). However, were the rest of the NPC's lives not, for the most part, summed up at the end of ToB? I would, for one, say that, if the story of the (son-of-Gorion) PC is continued at all, it would be with, for the most part, a prevalently new "cast" of NPCs.
