New/Improved Classes

What new classes would like to see in BG3, or would you like to just see a class improved?

I want to see the Swashbuckler improved, all it is really is an improved fighter/thief. I dont like them because of the nil on the backstab multiplier. Thats just the class I want to see improved.

I would like to see some sort of a draconic worshipper who at higher levels can transform into a certain dragon (depending on which dragon is focused upon on the kit). That would be funny, turn into a dragon and roast all those bhaalspawn into well done chicken.

Monk kits might be interesting, and much more flexibility in dualing... Personally, I was pretty bummed when I saw that you can't dual a mage into a monk...

Well, if BG3 is released, it will likely use the mainstay of the D&D rules at the given time, which currently is the 3(.5) edition.
There multiclassing works differnetly then it did in the 2.ed. rules as used by BG1+2/TOB.

Maybe they could have a wizard variant, the warlock, who can survive for more than a few seconds in combat *grumbles about Xan from BG I...*

really there wouldn't even a question, bg3 would use the most up to date d&d ruleset. with that in mind, i'm torn on if i'd rather see the prestige classes as presented in nwn or not.

several of them look like they would be great additions to a party, in paticular the red dragon disciple (which sorta sounds like what firelighter was after anyway), the weapon master or a prestige class for good aligned wizards.

I would love to see a type of oriental swordsman like a samurai. But most of all would be an assasin or cleric from the fan favorite Drow. I know all the adjustments that would have to be made because of light and stuff but imagine being able to play the race of drow. Killer.

Let's try to avoid one-word posts in this forum, since they tend to be rather unhelpful and do not contribute to the discussion.
