Wild Mage

Well, I just created a Wild Mage. However, I've got one important questions. Does the chance of a beneficial result in a Wild Surge improve with levels?

It does. Still though, you should use your shields. Welcome the most powerful class in the game.

Nice, thx. Ya, I was going to do that anyway. But mhm... Most powerful class? I'm not sure. Fighter/Mages and Sorcerers are at least equally powerful I think.

You roll a d100, add your levels and your shield. Higher results are (usually) beneficial. Simple as that. ;]

... or at least I think it's a d100. ^^

Well, in the manual it only said that your level is added when casting Nahal's Reckless Dweomer, so I wasn't sure whether this also applies to normal wild surges or not. Btw., do you actually see the Wild Surge roll? That would kind of make my question a bit redundant :>
