Watcher's Keep bug(spoilers)

I'm experiencing a bug in Watcher's Keep at the moment. Currently I'm in lvl 3, the teleport maze. The bug I'm experiencing concerns the fight against Tahazzar and his minions.(two times east portal from the starting room). Well, actually it doesn't concern the fight itself, but the Quasit minions. They are immune to magic and keep going invisible again and again, too fast to even hit them once. True Sight doesn't work either, as it doesn't reveal them permanently. The result is quite simple. They are impossible to kill.

Has anybody ever seen something like that before? Is there anything that can be done? Any ideas?

So long,
Sol

Its been a while since I went through the Keep but I remember them being relatively easy. I just can't remember what I did...sorry. I pretty much bashed my way through everything on that level.

Well, not that I have any problems fighting anything. I'm playing on insane with all the improved bosses mods. But the quasits just seem to be bugged. Well, I killed everything else in the room and moved on ignoring them. I'd still be interested if this is a known bug though.

I don't believe it is. I play on Insane with no mods.

I'd recommend using are of affect spells or the Planetar summon as she can see invisible creatures. Then again, I've always beaten them by beating the space key.

an annoyed planetar is a very helpful ally.

the number of spells they can cast is insane! if you can get the tactical situation right so that they don't get into hand-to-hand fighting - their arsenal of high-level spells is awesome - earthquakes, fire-storms, insect plagues etc. I don't know what their equivalent is in PC levels, but they are superb.

what works well is to have a multiclass who gets to pick from any pool each time and pick a few. My paladin had something like 9 summon devas in ToB. not as good as planetars by pretty handy.

these creatures have vorpal capabilites - and I got offed by one that I accidentally injured, so watch out.

Believe me, they are practically unkillable. I'd consider myself versed in all kinds of different tactics, nothing seems to work. They seem to have 100magic resistance and as I already explained hitting them with weapons is impossible.
I'm 99% sure this is a bug. Would be interesting if the Planetar thing works though.

If I recall correctly that room is a wild magic zone. Could explain the no true sight thingy. If so very unlikely that you will get a planeteer.

Still, you can pull it off. You can always skip it too,

Nope, it's not a wild magic room. As I said, I skipped it and continued playing. I mean, it's not that killing quasits is vital for the story or anything :>

No, you said you couldn't reveal them, which is not the same thing as being unable to hit them. Planetars see through invisibility and should therefore be able to strike them down.

Additionally, there are AoE spells that ignore magical resistance. Sunfire, for example.

Nothing is unkillable. ;D

Sunfire, Dragon's Breath and Firestorm (being the three main AoE spells that ignore MR) all do fire damage, which every Quasit is immune to (believe me - I was going to suggest those spells myself, but had a quick check through the resistances of every creature named 'Quasit' and so decided against such an action).
