ToB causing a bug in Ust Natha

When I try to replace the eggs the whole town always goes hostile towards me. What is wrong. It never happened with SoA only.

The same thing happened to me too. I reloaded several times to see if I had done anything differently the first time but no, the city gate closed and everyone started attacking. It isn't really that bad though - you just have to massacre the entire city to get out...

The city is sealed. I can't get out even if I kill everything.

Thats odd it worked for me. Try checking for the Drow in buildings - tavern, female fighter society (Phaeree), egg guardians, etc.
You might also have to kill the Matron Mother (Ardulace?)

Haha I made it without angering the drow. You must be out of the drow sight when you take the egg. Only the "egg guards" are allowed to see you when you take the egg.

That's correct, try to get your whole party as close to the "egg door" as you can before attempting to open it. Only the egg guards should go hostile then, and you should be able to kill them out of sight of everyone else if you're careful.

no, leave your party under invisibility at the exit of the temple, then send one hasted/boot speed char to do the switch, under sanctuary is best, as you can perform actions without alerting to your location. (even improved invis will alert) then hightail outside and run for the doors!

i know, as i have successfully done this pre patch, with tob installed. took me 3 attemps to work out it was a bug! gr-r-r, "wtf!"

I know the problem you are referring to.
Half the people here who have responded didn't have ToB installed when they did Ust Natha so in all fairness, they don't know what they are talking about.
The time when you steal the eggs has been changed. Before ToB you could go in with a Sanctuaried Cleric, Invisible mage or Stealthy Thief and just walk out with them. The egg guards would go hostile, but no one else would.
After ToB is installed, even if you are sanctuaried, hasted, and imp. invis.'d, the egg guards will call out when they realise the eggs are gone, making everyone else in the city go hostile too.
What you need to do is position two of your tanks behind the egg guards (where the other drow can't see), and chunk them when they go hostile. They only have 1hp so you'll be wiping drow bits off your armour before they can call out.
Hope this reconciles any confusion.

This has been most effective. Have your cleric/druid cast magic resistance on the two egg guards. Have mage cast domination/charm or use staff of command.

THEN make sure only your cleric or whatever character you want go in to get the eggs and have the guards follow you in. The golems will kill the guards and the city stays non-hostile.

I went through the Drow city before I had ToB, nothing attacked me when i went and got the eggs from the egg room. Not the Golems and no Drow. I haven't got that far with ToB on yet.
