Um...

I m encoutering some technical problem...in ToB

at the beginning, where the 5 test are, everytime when i fought against the endless horde of kobolds and monster it always crashes and says

Runtime Error C++ Library...something like that...

is there a way to skip the test and exit your "Hell" stronghold or fix the Runtime Error problem.

Sounds like a buffer overflow to me.. I assume that you let too many creatures swamp you on screen and a variable somewhere busts and gives out that error. I suppose you cover the minimum requirements for the game? If so, just try slaughtering stuff faster and see what happens.

Alrite, at the 1st test in ToB

those kobolds got slaughtered fairly quickly and so did the others...
my party is pure melee, and a mage. everytime a ogre mage appears and start casting cone of coldness..it crashed...RUNTIME ERROR C++...and all that.

and my PC's system easily outmatch those requirements set by BG 2...

is it possible that i change some aspects in the game so that i skip the test?

Just curious, but could you post the whole error message?
It could help to determine what exactly causes it...

Here what it said...

"...BGII/SoA.main has encountered an error.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

Your program has encountered a major application error, and needs to be closed by unusual means, please contact...blah blah blah...blah"

arite, i hav a okay graphic card...enough to run half life 2..and CS source..

and enough RAM to run any games made before 2004.

after crashing like 4 times i activated the cheat..

by pressing ctrl+Y and hover my pointer towards a creature, it instant kills it...dealing 1492 damage.

so i tried that and it didn't work either...after the place started spawning ogre mages, it automaticly crashed...everytime, sometimes when a kobold got chucked to pieces it crashed too.
this also happened when i use my 2nd PC back in SoA to travel to watcher's keep, after talking to the knights and all that. i tried to enter the keep and it crashed again...same error window...

then i tired using disc 3 and 4 to run the game after starting it..
and it crashed for the same reason...

i would be glad if someone explain to me about fixing this Visual C++ Runtime Error thing.

I myself had never experienced this crash with the unmodded BG2. However, yesterday i started playing with a brand new party with Tactics and Ascension installed and i had several CTD's over just 1 hour of gameplay. It happens when i switch areas usually.. But anyway your problem seems different as there's a specific type of monster that causes the problem.. Why don't you try clua-ing an ogre mage (or whatever was it that was crashing your game) and see if a problem occurs. If so, then maybe one of your game files is corrupted, and you would need to do a reinstall. If not, then it's just the script that conjures them for the specific area/quest. Oh, if killing them is the problem, why not try dominating them? Or Hold Monster them? As long as you get to complete the trial right?
