Question runehammer +5 and crom faeyr

This is my fist post, so hi guys! Firstly, I'd like to apologise for any spelling mistakes made in this post in advance.
I need help. I had an awesome dwarven warrior in BGII, but due to complicated computer errors, the game file was lost forever (just when I was up to Irenicus, too!) I seriously cannot be bothered going through BGII again, so I am recreating my dwarf if TOB. Idealy, he will wear shupprocks plate, and dual-weild the runehammer+5 and crom feayr. (my old dwarf had the crom feayr and i simply LOVE the runehammer+5 in TOB) I want to know, is it possible to assemble the crom feayr in TOB without going through BGII all over again, or would I have to cheat to get it back? (although I wouldn't see it as cheating, as I have previously assembled it)

To my knowledge, if an item from SoA ain't in your Bag of Holding at the start of ToB, you're outta luck.

Even if you had the component parts, Cespenar can't make that particular shiny one for you. Anyway, the easiest thing for you to do is to use Shadowkeeper to edit your character to its former specifications as best you can remember them.

I thought the Crom Faeyr was in the bag of holding...

Wow, that totally stinks. Crom is one of the most popular SoA items, I don't get why they wouldn't include it.

You know, I thought I saw somewhere that if you start a new dude in ToB, the Bag of Holding contains different inventories, depending on the class of your PC. (?)

Wouldn't that really devalue the effort put into making it in SoA, by giving it for free with all ToB characters?

It also encourages people to play Shadows of Amn - if you want the best items, that is.

It's a halberd you can assemble in SoA. It got some halfdecent qualities but like The Equalizer there are better choices out there.

the wave

I've always thought The Equalizer has had a bad rap. But that's generally because long swords in general are begrudged for not having the powergaming potential of crom faeyr, celestial fury, or FoA. I've always liked long swords though - there are lots of serviceable ones throughout the game, and The Equalizer is pretty much the best you can get in SoA, with the exception of Blackrazor, which is only at the very end and then still requires you to be evil and pick the evil option in hell (as opposed to the Wave, which probably isn't even as good as the Dragon's Breath Halberd that doesn't need the special assembly requirements). It's excellent as an offhand weapon, particularly with its dual-action mind shield. My main complaint against Equalizer is that I would have much preferred if that could be upgraded by Cespenar to a +5 instead of Argurvadal. Still, while the Celestial Fury/Crom Faeyr dual wield might be the most powergamey combination, I've found that something like Daystar/Equalizer is quite excellent and is a more natural role-playing combination

But they have the big metal unit

Anyway, that's true. Three of the best weapons in the game (Carsomyr, Crom Faeyr and SotM) can only be obtained by playing through SoA. And these weapons doesn't meet their counterparts all the way through ToB, though some of the weapons come dangerously close.

Done!

Thanks for your help guys! I'm just letting you know that I went through SoA again for the Crom, lol, and solo'd ToB with Thorm Ironbrand, my dwarf, dual-weilding the runehammer+5 and Crom. He wore shuppruks plate the entire game and I ended up selling all the dragon plates and other armour I found, as well as nearly all weapons. Once again, thanks for your help guys!
