Recruiting Balthazar- ascension MOD

well, my protagonist is a cavalier with a CHA of 17, the party has an excellent reputation. but i can't seem to be able to get Balthazar to join me. i have tried many combinations of speech options, but none seem to work.

has anyone yet figured out to recruit him???

if you want balthazar to join you, you have to be good overall in the whole game, with probably a high reputation. you will notice if you were "good" by talking to balthazar and saying "im a force of righteousness", he will say something like "i know". little confusing?

Drink a potion of insight and everything becomes a little clearer...

Alignment, hes a paladin. It kind of limits his options as far as alignment goes...

Reputation, well, he claims excellent, so it shouldnt be a problem

yeah, obviously enough being a cavalier i'm lawful good, and my rep is 19. i'm guessing the potion of insight was a joke, but i'll try anyway

i do have an evil group member though, i may try removing him

anyone else have any ideas or managed to recruit Balthazar yet?

well it seems that the potion of insight worked!!!! but maybe it was just fluke that i got the rite combination
