must have for sorcerer solo

i think its nice to share this.....after lots of solo games I did a list of must have spells to sorceror

lvl4-wizard eye
lvl5-spell imunity
lvl7-project image,finger of death
lvl9-spell trap,imprisionment

why this spells?simple..............
u cast spell trap than project image, the project image cast spell imunity divination, and than cast imprisionemnt in you and than finger of death......you now have all your spells back....... cast wizard eye with the image.......you now have undispelable image with all your spells....(cast spell imunity abjuration in case of dispel magic)than can cast everything you have so you dont have to worry about spells..........i always do this and summon lots of undeads(animate dead) and mordenakin sword..........sometimes i think Iam playing age of empires not bg2 because of so many summoned monster.............

But what do you do about the traps and locks, that has to be opened?

get freedom too...

for a funny trick...

cast imprison on a tough monster, then whistle while you load up the area where it was with skulltraps or delay blast fireballs...

then cast freedom...

one rod of absorbtion in ust natha...5000gp
one scroll of chain contingency in adventure mart...8000 gp

the thought of the monster's face as it was released from imprison, only to find itself surrounded by skull traps...priceless..

I hated the fact that some of the "bosses" where immune to Imprisonment.
Says nothing about this in the spell description.

Yeah, I mean, you're the baddest dude out there, and even you can be imprisonned...

Pity for game balance. Such is life though for a balanced game at high levels.

Well - I wouldn't see it as un-balanced, even if Imprisonment worked on all.
Because - basically - you aren't killing the enemy simply by imprisoning them, so you still have to free them to kill them off, and get their goddies or continue to the storyline.

...True enough, I guess, I could see how that works. Kinda sucks that the engine counts Imprisonment as death.
