multiclass ranger/cleric or ranger lvl9 dual to cleric

multiclass ranger/cleric or ranger lvl9 dual to cleric what is better?

depends what you want.

if you want a supporting cleric who buffs the party and throws sling bullets/protects your mages, go with the dual class.

if you want a priest who will pile into combat with only one buff (ironskins) and get fighter HLAs, go with the multiclass. i personally think the benefits of the multiclass far outweigh the dual class, but i like melee orientated parties.

Well... for a Dual-Class you can't have Weapon Specialisation anyway, since your a Ranger. With ToB, I would make a multiclass because of the 2 HLAs pools.
