Missing Special Abilities?

Hi,

A few of my characters seem to be missing some of their high-level abilities. for example.. my lvl 16 Avenger(druid) has Stone Elemental Transformation ( or whatever it's called ) and has now chosen Aura of Flaming Death... but the Aura has not shown up anywhere... there are no new special abilities, and it hasn't shown up as a spell..

Can anyone help?

Some of the "high-level abilities" are actully spells (Level 7 for druids/clerics, Level 9 for mages/sorcerers). Aura of Flaming Death is one of them.

I knew some of them were spells.. but totally ignored the fact that spells had to be momorized..

@Dral, most of the Avengers new special abilities are level 7 spells. The elemental shapeshift forms are in the special abilities slot...these are my Avengers level 7 spells at level 28:
