| | Good god, why would you want to make Lilacor's brother?
he's only a plus 3, imagine what his brother, 4 times his power, would be like. Good, I hope it's cursed with silence 15 ft radius. Maybe blessed would be a better word...

| | What exactly did you download? Go here, and download Infinity Engine Editor Pro, you'll also need the VB6 package in order to run it. |

| What you downloaded was the Infinity Explorer, which is not a game editor, but a utility for browsing the game data of any Infinity Engine game, such as the BG series, Icewind Dale, and PS:T. With it, you can check out items, creatures, scripts, etc.
I've used it to view the actual stats on weapons (there are so many errors in the item descriptions, it's pathetic), and to see what's going wrong with the romance scripts, etc.
To edit items (and more) in the game, just click the link in Sabre's message.

| | Sojourner: you can use Near Infinity instead, it's a newer program and also cover more files. Go here. |

| | You're welcome, the only problem with Near Infinity is that it's still a work in progress, so not all of the effect of certain things in the game are known yet. But it's still better than Inifinity Explorer since you can edit stuff with it as well. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
