Level Up Abilities

I was running around killing the monsters in Watchers Keep when after a bunch of people leveled(me, sarevok and edwin)then they were able to learn new abilites so I was like NEAT and got some but then when I went to Edwins I have trouble deciding, I mean with things like a non ally damaging meteor storm or planeter summon how can it be easy to choose but I am wondering why he could not learn summon regular planetar thingy. I guess it may be because Edwin is generally evil but Im not sure, I ended up just getting fallen planeter summon thingy but I still would like to know how to get the non fallen one.

evil characters get the fallen one, good (and possibly neutral?) get the normal planetar. as far as i know evil characters cannot summon a good planetar only the fallen planetar.

I'm pretty sure that Neutral characters can choose between them...

yeah thinking about it you are right because jaheira gets both the good and the evil planetar.

Actually you cannot get both, without cheating, You can choose one or the other. I don't mean to be technical, but just so we're clear.

You are 100% right - when a neutral character levels up, they are initially presented both of them (the regular and the fallen) as choosable HLAs. Selecting one automatically prevents the selection of the other (they are mutually exclusive from then on), so up to that point, you can have either one, but not both, without cheating.
