Killing Magic Golems

Once a Magic Golem is down, how do you finish it off? I tried acid, fire, ice, poison . . .? Sucker keeps jumping back up for more.

A side note - to put it down in the first place, I had to go bare handed with Sarevok and Korgan (nobody in my party was carrying a non-magical waepon of any sort!). They boxed him to the ground in no time flat. Kinda cool to watch.

Duh - I just realized the answer to my own post.

If my fighters knocked him down with their bare knuckles, he was only unconscious, right?

Uh, yeah, punches knock out enemies.

I normally carry around a single reg'lar warhammer in my litlte Bag O' Holding for just such that occasion. You only face the fuggers once in the straight game, y'know.

a couple of the fire giants in Yagas temple have a complete selecton of normal weapons for your pleasure and convenience

you face them twice once at Yaga and once at Helms keep. there are non-magic weapons nearby in any case
