Kensai\Blade multiclass

As the title say, I want to create a Kensai\Blade Multiclass, or maybe a Kensai\Blade\Assasin, but I haven't the faintest clue on how to do it. Should I use SK or some other way?

BTW, I know it'll be cheasy, but I intend to install tactics, and a few other mods and solo, so I think I'll have plenty of challenges.

Blades can't be multi nor dual classed. It's hardcoded... The only way would be to create a bard, thief, or fighter class with the pro & con of your Kensai/Blade.

But isn't it possible by overwriting some files or something, like I have seen described before?

and if it is not possible, how would I go and create the pros & cons of the blade?

Well... I don't really know how to build a kit but you could do a Bard sub-class looking like this :

Advantages

- Offensive/Defensive spin (Blade) and/or Kai (Kensai)
- May specialize into every melee weapons (Kensai)
- +1 Bonus to Thaco/Damages every 3 levels (Kensai)
- -1 to speed faction every 4 levels
- -1 to AC every 3 levels
- -2 to Base AC

Disadvantages

- One half Pickpocket/Lore (Blade)
- Bard song doesn't improve with level (Blade)
- Cannot wear armor & bracers (Kensai)
- Cannot use Ranged Weapon (Kensai)

The class would need something like 9 Str, 9 Int, 15 Cha, 9 Dex. I don't know how to make a new kit, but there's alot of tutorials on the net. Just search on google.

both are possible...

install sk, and activate cheats by editing baldur.ini...

make a pure kensai, and using...

"CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("number")

gradually advance him/her one level at a time until you've reached the desired level...

sk into an assassin....

repeat, then sk into blade.

the kensai will translate nicely, you'll get all the damage, ac and thaco bonuses...

but the backstab, you lose 2 backstabs cause of losing the thief kit when you sk to blade...

duplicate affect 0x0107 (it references SPCL332) twice, and you get it back...

kensai assassin blades can only backstab using assassinate hla, or mislead.

yes, you completely lose any and all thief abilites when you sk to blade, except pickpocket...

you're making a blade that has inherited most, but not all the abilities of a kensai and assassin.

first open up my computer, go to view, folder options, view...check show all hidden files and extensions...(the os hides .ini files)

go to the game directory, look for baldur.ini

scroll down until you see the header

Program Options

add a line in the section

Debug Mode=1

Ahhhhhhh, I understand now. Was confused until I did what you said. BTW User, after I saw your tips here I checked out your so-called "cheese" guide, great stuff that really isn't all that "cheesy". You should stick some of your SK knowledge in (Sorcerer Cleric et al), that would be good "cheese". Like the concept of this thread for example. . .why didn't I think of that? Probably wouldn't have thought of it until you laid it down fo' me!
