Jester Chain : SPo1ling the FuN

I know that you can snag a jesters chain in Spellhold for twenty mithril tokens, but I dont know the stats on it and I still can only find 19 tokens =/ anyone know the stats and if you can cast spells in it? and if it is just for bards with the jester kit then forget the whole idea cause they are possibly the worst kit in the game.

IIRC the Jester chain IS just for bards.
But why would you say bards are the worst class in the game? They're versatile, if nothing else. They're the class that can do a bit of everything. A little magic, a little fighting, a little stealing. They can use almost every weapon and have the bardsong.
They don't excel at anything though. That's for other classes.

I am referring solely to the jester kit, and very much enjoy bards, I usually just take haedalis because he is actually a pretty good mage/fighter, and pickpocketing has such limited use I dont know if that holds much appeal for me either. I think improved bardsong powers the Skald Kit down and the jester's song gets less and less useful with levels.

It's not just for bards, I'm sure my fighters could use it too. Problem is, it glows really brightly, which gets annoying sooner than you'd think. Also, and contrary to expectation, I couldn't cast spells wearing it.....
