I was in WK 3rd lev. and a demon targeted my inquisitor witha spell and he was held.
How that was possible? Inquisitors aren't supposed to be immune to hold and charm?
IIRC, inquistors aren't immune to stun (from testing in the kill the Keldorn challenge) -- did the icon in the portrait show a little head with stars above it (the stun icon) or red bars (the held icon)?

Yeah tha's what I thought (guessed)...the demon attack is first and foremost a gaze attack so you need to be immune to those (protection from petrification etc) to avoid the hold. Seems a bit iffy though...ah well.
What is the "demon gaze attack"?
How can you protect from it?
Anyway is strange, because if is a matter of saving an inquisitor of lv. 25 with good equipment has saving throws well below 0.
I'm playing through WK at the moment too and some of the demon battles in the maze level are very chaotic. The gaze attack I referred to is used by the Balors you meet during the planar sphere and underdark quests...I can't say for certain that any of the demons in WK use the same attack or are infact Balors at all (there's so many types of demon, several of which have the same avatar) but I'm guessing this is what held your inquisitor. The ring of free action should protect against all hold like effects. Like I said, the whole thing seems a bit buggy though.
