Unhappy I can't dual class in a multiplay game... please help.

Hello,
I'm using a female (human) Kensai in a multiplayer game. She is now level 13 with all stats over 15 (intel is 18)and I'd like to dual class her to the traditional mage. However, the dual class button on the character screen is "grayed out" and won't allow me to select it. I then created a single player char with identical stats and started her in the ToB expansion - when I opened the character screen the dual class button was lit and allowed me to dual her. As a test, I then created a new multi-player char (again with identical stats), dropped her into the ToB expansion and the button was grayed-out again. Any thoughts on what's wrong? I haven't read anywhere that you can't dual in a multiplayer game. PS: I uninstalled and then reinstalled but the problem still exists. Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry I can't help you. There should be no difference in dual-classing of characters in single- v multiplayer game. I have dual classed characters without problems in multiplayer.

I don't know why you can't dual class, but you can dual the character in single-player mode, then import her into your multiplayer game.

I had the exact same problem, and i never ever found a solution, if you are dead set on dual classing then you could use shadowkeeper to alter your player to the nexeassary levels.

Maybe the answer could be that your str is too low. I think the prime ability scrore also matters when you dual. Think it have to be 17 or 18.

Hope it helps.
