Help with Ravager

this guys giving me trouble@@ my magic doesnt seem to effect him and those darn swords are annoying >< anyone have any suggestions? thanks!

Buff your fighters to the insane and melee him to death. Be sure to use Greater Whirlwind/Critical Strike and other HLA's. And summon some planetars/deva's/mordenkainen swords as a decoy. Or use the spell lower resistance in spell triggers, and cast a barrage of death magic on him.

this guy is tough but bring some elemental princes out to take out his friends.
uuse the spell senquenser all three and put defenses on three of your fighters in the time it takes to cast 3 magic missles!!!!!!!!!!!!
swarm him with your fighters and keep your cleric out of harms way and cast mass cure. p.s. when a charater is killed reserect him anyway to cause a distraction. the one who killed the ravager in my game was sarevok with no weapons!!!!!!!!

the ravager is the true avatar form of bhaal (like the slayer on steroids). it is the final challenge before you face mellisan. the ravager itself summons mordenkainen swords into the battle (which have no magic resistance so you should be able to have your mages take care of them while your fighters take the ravager). IIRC, the ascension mod allows you yourself to become the ravager at a certain experience level...

wait... you CAN take down the ravager with magic, a few lower res and malison will do the trick... then just nail him with everything you've got
