Help using shadow keeper

Warning serious spoilers ahead read only if you've passed the game

ok basicly i screwed up 1 of my tests in hell minsc got killed but I did'nt want to sacrifice 2 hp for him and since he was'nt permantly dead I had viccy resurect him, there seem to have been no ill efects but later when I was putting the tears of bhaal into the door my aligment shifted to evil.

unfortunatly my only 2 saves aside from auto and quick, both of which were overwritten, are: 1 before heading out to brynnlaw (spelling ??) and the second before entering the mind flayer area in the underdark.

Since I was good to everyone throughout the whole game (started with a lawful good monk) and passed 4/5 in hell, I don't feel i deserve such an aligment. after searching these forums some1 said that in throne of bhaal there is no way for me to atone/ regain aligment so i downloaded shadow keeper opened the char file and set aligment back to lawful good but.............. when I load the edited save (edited 0001) i still have neutral evil ???? what gives ?? is there anyway for me to regain my aligment ??
this is an annoying situation switch to evil should only occur if you fail 3/5

(party with a reputation of 18 for korgan and viccy)

thx in advance for any help

Have you done a search on this particular topic? I'm sure the problem has been up and it has been proven there was a ShadowKeeper variable. I'll take a quick look now, and I hope I can find it.

Edit: After some searching I managed to find this thread:

I hope you can understand this.

If you sacrificed Minsc to save a couple if hit points, you're evil. Why not play that way and enjoy it?

The Search facility here provides plenty of links to answer this question, and DJVenom has already been kind enough to do some looking up for you. Since the site owner has insisted on no thread duplication, this thread is closed.
