I'm just curious. I know Jahera is given one, but the site here said 'Various Locations'.
I'm wondering now if it's possible to join the harpers, or whether it's just a matter of killing the right person.

The reason why the site have "various location" as the location for the Harper Pin is because there is no set location for Terminsel's to meet Jaheira to give it to her. All that was needed is that the party be in an outdoor area and that the Harper plot have finished.

So to answer your question; no, you cannot join the Harper.
