game crashes

Hello people!

When Abazigal turns into a dragon, the games crashes.
A message comes up:
"An Assertion failed in ChDataTypes.cpp at line number 250"

Can anybody help me to go on?

General decompression error on BAM and MOS files. This is the most common error that will occur when the game is accessing bad data on your hard drive. This can occur from a faulty install of BG2 or can occur due to some oddities with your hardware. There are no easy solutions to this issue as they are hardware specific. Try clearing out your quot;cache", "temp", and "tempsave" directories. Failing that, try reinstalling.
