Unhappy Final Battle (spoiler)

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO KILL THIS $^#$^#&*@%(#$&#$&#$^#@!())@($*#*$^@(&#*@()#&(@$#() $&*#()^@*&^#)(@$#*%&@$#*&*@(^#$#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to the strategy guide and I swear nothing works. And this is only the second encounter!! (after shutting off the first pool) Trouble is, I can't get any spells or special abilites going before my entire party is knocked unconscious and attacked by super-fast-moving baddies. They run right up and deal damage to my party before we even wake up. Then Melissan invariably casts Time Stop.

I swear, it's impossible. Heeellllllp!!

Well what party do you have? It is a tough fight but not an impossible one. The key is to concentrate your efforts on M.

I have tried concentrating my efforts on M. Like I said though, the fighters can't get near and the spellacasters can't get any spells out. And this is only the second go-round.

The party consisits of:

PC Cavalier
Jaheira
Imoen
Aerie
Anomen
Sarevok

Have you tried summoning some monsters where M shows up, run north to the place where she will transport to, prepare and start hitting her as soon as she appears at the northern spot?

Not sure about u but my main a monk, sarevok, valygar and jaheira use greater whirlwind and all concentrate on M and she died before Aerie or Imoen can cast a decent spell. If you are short of magic use the greater wish scroll there is an option for u to recover your spell(does not appear everytime may have to reload)

@CE: This is before she teleports. This is the confrontaton after the first pool has been shut down

@Char_Aznable: Greater Whirlwind, can't get it to take. M knocks everyone unconscious, we're against the wall, and can't get to her. That's the problem I think.

Does anyone know if I can Shadowkeeper a nuclear bomb?

@Loner: what I did was summoning monsters at the spot where she appears (the south end) then I would shut down the pool. She and her cronies will attack the monsters because they are closer to her. Hope this helps

@Omar: I tried sending a demon in there once, but no others.

@All: Any specific suggestions for summoned things? Regular monsters or planetars, or what?...

Definatly Planetars. Elemental Princes are extremely powerful allies if Jaheira can cast that. Mordenkainens swords are also useful for drawing attacks, as they are immune to most forms of attack. Or you can always cast a few armors of faith until your immune to physical damage .
