Just before the final fight, Melissan says you're the last Bhaalspawn left, but I remember the exploding guy in trademeet fled from Saradush?
And Imoen has to give up her Bhaal essence at the end, so she should still be considered a Bhaalspawn at that moment?

I was going to ask about this too, but the conclusions are fairly obvious. Viekang must have been killed somehow, or else had his bhaal essence stripped from him, and Imoen willingly gave up her Bhaal Essence. What would happen were she not in the party, I don't know.

It might be that he is killed on the Magical barrier that is surrounding Saradush?

It might also be a mistake in the script

Maybe Imoen is assumed killed if not in your party? or just stripped
