You can skip all of chapter 5 if you really want to

You can finish Chapter 5 in a solo group or even grouped if you have your group agro the Dark Elf gate guard and then go through ust natha invisible. If the game senses that you blew your cover at the gate the door guarding the dragon eggs won't be locked and you can waltz on in and take the eggs and leave. If your solo you can just reinvis yourself and walk on out. No need to do the mindflayers, kuotoa, beholders, or any of those errand runs first heh.

You do lose a ton of exp doing that but for a solo player whom is capped it doesn't matter unless you want to do those fights for the fun of it.

Doing that you can finish chapter 5 in about 10 minutes real life time :P.

you can finish it by just killing adalon and getting the scroll to open the gate to the surface

As far as I know, the absolute easiest way is to...

- Kill the Snirfblem leader or pickpocket his gem
- Talk to Adalon to get the transform
- Head to the exit and bribe the guards

However, I don't recommend this unless you're doing something silly like speed soloing
