why am i getting 0 heath and chrisma ?

first question i have 2 kensi/mages in my party and on all four of the mage levels they have so far they have both gotten 0 health, but they each have 18 con why do they get 0 health

second question one of those kensi/mages has 3 charisma and i killed the lich in the city gates that has a staff then has a 20% of reducing charisma by 1 permently. after a while and my charisma going down to one i was fighting a troll, i hit and my guy died, since my dude didnt get hit i was wondering does having 0 charisma kill you?

thanks in advance

Yes. You suffered from a terrible death caused by extreme hideousness.

at the second question:
Yes, having zero of any ability, like charisma, you will die.

at the first question:
i don't really understand. if they have zero health (HP?) then they should die right?

aule: what im saying is when they gain levels as mages they recieve 0 hp so i have the same amount as i did when i started the dual-class

raumoheru: and even if mages dont gain as much as the fighter classes i have had mages in the past who gain health at level up
so shouldnt he get some

It's because they are dual classed, they'll start to get HP again once the mages levels surpass their kensai levels.

i dont know how exactly it works but fighters usually get 3 hp per level and mages a lot of time dont get any

constitution has nothing to do with getting more hp per level, it adds on to hp after everything is added from classes.

You're wrong, all classes have a hit die, wich is different for each class:
Wizard/Sorcerors: 1d4 + con bonus (max +2) per level
Thief/Bard: 1d6 + con bouns (max +2)
Cleric/Druid/Monk: 1d8 + con bouns (max +2) per level
Warrior: 1d10 + con bonus per level
Barbarian: 1d12 + con bonus per level

After a certain level the HP progression stops working that way and goes on with a fixed number (I think +3 for Warriors/Barbarians, +1 for Wiazrds/Sorcerors and +2 for the rest). Dual classes stop gaining HPs until they have a higher level in their second class than in their "starting" class.

For minimum headaches, temporarily switch game difficulty to normal when leveling up

(unless you are roleplaying, of course )
