Why am I being attacked?

Hello,

Two strange things have recently happened in my game.

The first was my reputation dropping for no apparent reason. I know my rep was around 11 or 12 but then I left the Inn at Waukeen's Promenade and then I was attacked but the guards. I killed them, went to the temple and got my rep up 12...again.

Now, whenever I return to Waukeen's I am attacked by EVERYONE, even the merchants....I checked my rep and it is still at 12. Even if I return to the temple I am attacked by the people in the temple.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I installed the SOA patch a long time ago.

Please help.

I strongly suspect you either 1) pickpocketed somebody who caught on, or 2) accidentally hurt a bnystander or guard during a battle. The locals therefore figure you are an enemy, and it is probably a very, very good idea to stay away from Waukeen's Promenade for a long time to come--or at least, until you get Greater Invisibility.

Thanks for the response, I don't have a thief in my party (well not yet, I am waiting for my dual class character to get up to level 11), but perhaps I accidentally killed an amnish guard in one of the battles.

I guess I will go out to the world map for a while and come back to see if they have gotten over whatever I did....
