| | What's your worst dissapointment in ToB? What's your dissapointment in ToB?
-too short?
-Few new NPCs?
-Not enough new kits?

| | Hop on over to the "Debt to Sarevok" thread and you'll see what Polaris' biggest dissapointment is (the Solar's question of course!).
My biggest dissapointment is that is was too linear.

| | -Too Short
-Only one new NPC
-XP cap is too high (Oh boy, I'll be flamed for this one...)
-Too many powerful weapons
-Too many "rare" and "exotic" creatures
-Too linear
-Too predicatable
Thats all for now... |

| | Too much senseless hack-and-slash brutal combat.
Disappointing boss villians (ie-Balthazar, Yaga-Shura).

| | To few NPCs. I would have wanted them to include a few more NPCs available right from start in SoA. More NPCs means more replay value. The least they could have done was to reinstate Yoshimo.

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

| Have you tried the 'improved' Balthazar?
I don't think there is an 'improved' Yaga Shura, but he is *supposed* to be a neutered shadow of his former self by the time you fight him. Has anyone tried fighting him before neutering him? |

| | My biggest gripe is that it seems like you always end up fighting a whole lot of the same enemies at once, and they all "quaff a potion"....I don't know, it just irks me that everytime I go into combat everyone I am fighting is drinking. It just seems to me that large amounts af enemies were put there in a cheap effort to make the game difficult. Oh well, just my ramblings on the subject.....

| | What Aegis said pretty much sums it up for me. Add to it that some of the endings sucked except for a handful (Keldorn, Edwin come to mind for the "non-sucky" endings).
ToB = Monty Haul AD&D

| | -every type of weapon has a +5
-way too powerful characters
-too high level. Perhaps Irenicus should drain you to level one in SoA. also get half as much exp for everything.

| | Not exactly a disappointment but in sendai's enclave when you enter an area there is an infinite respawn of slaves (dwarves) each worth 12.000 Exp.
Just seems to way too much for enemies you kill with one blow...

| | I agree with Aegis and Gaxx_Fikraag, i quite enjoy power gaming, but it ended up quite boring.
