what are they like?
where can they be found?

| | The patch adds these new ioun stones:
Green Ioun:
STRENGTH +5
INTELL - 4
Gold:
+3 AC -4 AC = -1 AC
Polka dot:
-4 penalty to save vs 60s music
Orange:
Player resembles a fruit. Doesn't affect gameplay, but sure looks stupid.
Gray:
Changes the sex of the player. In order not to ruin romances, romanced characters also change sex.
Pink:
Random flatulence which can be ignited to produce a Sunfire-type spell effect.

| Depends upon your party configuration. +1 for a priest or +1 for a mage can make a difference in terms of the number of spells, or the level of spells they can cast.

| Int for Mages only determines which levels of scrolls they can scribe, their chances of succeding at it, and the number of different spells they can have per level (which is more than big enough even with Int 16).
So the best way to use the Int stone would be to dig it out of your Bag of Holding before scribing scrolls.  |

| | No, 1 extra wis cant match the better helmets in the game, my favourite helmet is wong feis stone. no other stone matches it. Other normal magic helmets are better as well
