| | All of Weimer's mods have moved from the Berkeley web space to www.weidu.org ... can someone with admin access perhaps edit the links in Quitch's post?
"www.cs.berkeley.edu/~weimer/bgate" would be replaced by "www.weidu.org".

Ghareth, a human fighter/mage, is the first and still only true One-Day NPC(tm). Ghareth requires Throne of Bhaal to function.
Hessa
by Bonnie Rutledge
- One neutral evil, half-elf thief, level 12, 13 or 15 depending on the party's
experience at the first encounter.
- One small NPC-related quest
- One small, new quest-related area
- One new soundset of dubious entertainment value
- 12 banters and 20-something interjections
Hessa is a One-Day NPC*** for Baldur's Gate 2, an evil half-elf thief, and a preview of things to come in the Surayah mod. Hessa requires Throne of Bhaal to function. Hessa requires starting a new game.
*** (Bons cheated and took one week.)

FYI, all of my above posts/lists are now obsolete. I'm no longer updating each individual list.
Instead, a database-driven site has been setup to encompass all of the information of those posts, and much more.
Mods, portrait sites, modding communities, gaming forums, custom sites--they're all included. People can also submit any link that may not already be included.

Bearing in mind that any opinions on the subject are going to be highly subjective and that some of the reviews are of older versions, this page looks to be quite helpful for anyone new to NPC mods.
