| | The best potion in the game? subj.
I vote for thr Potion of Mind Focusing. You may raise dex to 25 together with int with all consequences, AC including. Esp. good for mages, of course, nonetheless i use it even on Minsc - besides other benefits he can use scrolls then http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/wink.gif

| | Depends on your class. For a Kensai, Potions of Defense are very nice. Potions of Master Thievery can essentially give Thieves unlimited money (though unrealistic and a bit cheesy).
However, I think the Potion of Magic Protection is the best. Paladins and Monks get 100% MR from it. Anyone else can get 100% MR by using 2 of them. |

| | I like the potion invulnarability. You get a very low ac and mad saving throws for quite some time.

| | I agree with Nighthawk, it depends on the class and situation. And yes, all of the mentioned could be important, especially for solo. Here are some more:
Potion of speed: essential for speed solo (except monks), and without it some encounters would be very tough in Irenicus dungeon.
Potion of clarity: against most of the psionics (ok, a berserker/barbarian/cleric don't need it).
Potion of absorption: against trolls, golems, etc.
Potion of Power: a lot of nice effects.
But still I would vote for Potion of Extra Healing. |

Both are cumulative. As i said, my favorite is PoMF, it lasts longer and gives additional bonuses. 12 hours you may be INT 25 DEX 25 (see table in manual for bonuses). More, it does not wear out during the rest.

| | I vote for potion of extra healing (the most often used)
Potion of Genius is useful for mages in my party and potion of mind focusing (the same reason)- but they are rarely used (only to write scrolls to the spellbook).

| | I never really use potions. They just get added to the horrible detritus in my healer's backpack. The silliest has to be the potion of icedust. C'mon, protection from fire for a round or two? Oo.
I use potions of extra healing frequently, but that's about it. |

| | Personally, I'd rather use icedust around a dragon than magic protection, since I'd rather preserve the latter for those cute little mindflayers.
