Still Having Problems

Doh! My game is still crashing to the desktop. Three or five minutes into the game now, it will crash during dialogue, battle, loading, hell whatever. No error messages. It just drops.

I tried what you guys told me. I tried to install the patch. Didn't work. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, then patching. Still didn't work. I tried to play via turning off my Sound Card to see if that will help. Didn't work again. I have the 3D Acceleration off too.

This started happening when I installed ToB, and since now my character is integrated into it by having the XP cap removed.. I just don't feel like uninstalling and redoing him. Please guys. Any help would be appreciated. I just got out of the Underdark. I'm so close to finishing the game and moving to ToB, to being able to play the great expansion.. and now it's damned from me..

I was woundering do you have the downloaded exp cap remover. If so try to take it out of the over ride folder. I had to do this to stop my game from crashing.

What do you mean fallen one? Explain. I'll check out if I have anything. I just need instructions since I'm insanely slow. Maybe what you're saying will help.

God knows i've tried everything else. Upgraded my cards. Uninstalled, defragged, Scandisked, and reinstalled still didn't work. No patches except the ToB one. Maybe what you think will be able to help.

You can down load a exp cap remover off the internet. To allow your charcters to gain higher levels. I did this when I was playing SOA to get higher Exp. to gain more then the 2 950 000 exp. And you need to put this file into the override folder. When I did this my game would never allow me to get out of Jons dungeon. So I was woundering if you downloaded any such things.

Oh, no. Not at all. It's just SoA, with ToB installed. I wish I knew what was wrong.. *sighs* It won't let me play at all. Three minutes in, poof. Desktop greets me..
