Romances

Exactly how do they work?
Can NPC's have romances with each other or only my main character? Are there any race or alignment limits (e.g. can an evil half-orc fall in love with Mazzy?)
Etc....

The only romances abailable to a male PC are:
Viconia, Jaheira and Aerie.
Alignment and Race are of no importance( I think)

For a female PC the only option is Anomen

There are no romances between NPC's in your party.

The NPC's available for romance will initiate dialog at random . You can either romance them or basically tell them to bugger off.

That's not 100% true...

The npc's are romancing with each other, or at least they try to. Jan Jansen is a very bad romancer, but he tries to "charm" Nalia and Aerie from my party all the time, though his "score tricks" don't help http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Additionally, if you turn down Aerie (presumably for one of the others) and give him the chance Haer'dalis can be a real charmer towards her.
