SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gemjump is in BG2, take a rogue stone to the lower right hand houses in the bridge district and check out what happens (hint: staff of magi ). Rogue stones also sell for a ton of $$$ and may have other uses I have forgotten to mention. Good luck, and maybe next time you could check the items section of this page before you ask us questions, or perhaps the walkthrough!

Gemjump involves the use of enchanted gem stones to "teleport" someone to another location. It's mentioned in Elaine Cunningham's book, Thornhold, a Forgotten Realms book.

You need a Rogue Stone to enter the Twisted Rune area in the Bridge District. Save before entering, it'll spare you some frustration.

True, but if you load the autosave, you'll notice the Rogue Stone is missing...
