Post Rabbits

According to the spell Find Familar, the rabbit has 24 HP. My Skald did get 12 HP, which would then be correct. But when looking at the rabbit in my inventory, the text sais it only got 16 HP. So which is the right one?

Another thing, not that I ever use my rabbit as a fighter (although I really enjoyed the idea of polymorphing ennemies to squirrels than attacking with the rabbit http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/smile.gif), does the rabbit do fire damage? That seems to be the case when looking at a hit.

The rabbit familiar really does do firedamage, wich makes it a cute trollkilling unit when you knocked the trolls down for it. Notice that it also has fairlu low Thac0? Once had the rabbit run around an enemy mage and bit him in the butt. Since firedamage goes trough stoneskin the little bunyip sabotaged every single spell the mage tried to cast. http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

you can also cast limited wish and ask for a horde to apear and attack your enemies. and the genie conjuers a whole crap load of bunnys. i do this when someone summons a demon and im out of protection from evil spells. heh, its funny watching the demon running around killing them.

Astafas I see you have read about the famous battle between my rabbit and the polymorphed elf-hater(squirrel)....that was some fight......also I do have a question for you or anyone else that may be able to answer it....
Q - While playing as a true neutral mage I summoned the rabbit?! as my familiar....I noticed that he can find traps...and he also has a thieving button that is "darkened"....when talking to my rabbit one of the dialogues that I can choose is - Give me everything that you have pickpocketed......but he doesn't give me anything (cheap ba***rd)....is there a way to pickpocket with the rabbit???? Or is the rabbits only use to find traps and sneak up behind squirrels....?????

The Rabbit is the BEST familiar, If you run out of food you can always have fried rabbit for dinner.

Actually I had a pseudo-dragon (think it was) once in a game a long long time ago....When I asked him for advice he usually gave me a little (obvious) tip....like when I was saving up for the 20 000 Gp's to "rescue" Imoen...my little green friend said something like - you have to save more money master....

Cool

Gents, have you ever imagined a duel between a rabbit and a rabid chicken*???

Don't know the stats for the chicken, but I guess it would be a close one http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
