Question Question about clerics

Does a cleric get another half attack at lvl 14 as figther classes do, and does he get the 1/2 attack bonus from the boots of haste?

i am considering to make either of these chars

an undead slayer with crom faeyr, shield of harmony, cloak of reflection, ring of gaxx, ring of free action, boots of haste....the only thing that can hit him is mindflayer int draining

a figther cleric, dualed to cleric at 9, and mastery in warhammer crom faeyr, shield of harmony, cloak of reflection, ring of gaxx, ring of free action, and amulet of power.

the figther cleric would be the better choice in my eyes as have more clerical spells than a paladin....but im wanting to have 3 attacks, and being able to use a shield....can anyone help me out here?

go for the a Dual-class fighter cleric. I have not try one in the game but Amoen(dual-class fighter 7 level /cleric active class) can get mastery of war hammer.

A plain cleric w/o Equipment EVER has 1 attack unless he's dual-wielding, in this case he gets 2. Must be the boots...

...so do I. NO!

btw. go for the Fighter/Cleric. This is real killer. If you'll ever get low on HP or the battle's boiling too hot for ya, simply cast Sanctuary, wade off, heal and return to kick some royal butt...

ups! little misunderstanding. I meant plain Cleric. Fighter/Cleric gets ALL the attacks a fighter gets plus he can of course specialize in weapons so he gets even more. All in all 3 attacks single-handed are no problem, 4 attacks d.w..
Give me a second to recheck...

btw. what level are you planning to d/c. On 7 you get 3/2 attacks w/o profiencies and on 13 you get 2, but till 14 it's a LONG way with the cleric.
If you're impatient I'd d/c at 7 (for the 1/2 attack more) or at 9 (for +x HPs, +1 profiency, +2THAC0 and +1saving throws) never later unless you are soloing and/or using the XPcap remover. I dualed my berzerk at 15...

Question

checked it...
mmhh...that's odd. My plain Cleric neither got the boot's attack enhancement (which is a bug anyway). But my dual-classed and multi-classed fighters get it. Mysterious. Maybe it's while the fighter is inactive that the boots are not working 'properly'.

...just back from Fearun:
multi-classed fighter/mage: yes, gets attacks
dual-classed fighter->thief: yes, also gets them
...I see no rule in it anyway. Is your fighter active?

Back to the Fighter->Cleric: go for it!
