Proficiency slots with Minsc n Jaheira

I only seem to be able to give Minsc 2 slots and Jaheira 1 in any particular weapon. Is this correct, are they limited or am I missing something? I have read the manual and done a word search on the board but have drawn a blank so comments would be appreciated.

Rangers get 2 slots in each weapon and druid/fighter SHOULD get as many slots they want, but I´m not sure. Hope this helped...

dont u think its pretty sucky for the ranger to only have 2 proficiency slots?
i mean ok, maybe not for a sword or warhammer or sumthin, but when i think of a ranger, i think of a bow.

in my opinion the rangers should be allowed like **** in bow proficiencies.
thats what makes em a ranger =]

Minsc and Jahiera can get 2+ in any weapon they can use. For Minsc I recommend Flails and Maces or 2-H Swords. For Jahiera I recommend Scimitars, Clubs, or Spears and Slings.

Mielikki: Rangers are outdoorsmen, not necessarily archers...unless they are Archers.
