Poll: The hardest solo/animal battle?

I would say probably Adalon(though u don't have to fight her? Firkraag is a tough one as well(with the patch)...

i think Firkraag is tougher than Adalon, since you fight him earlier in the game. By the time you fight Adalon in the underdark, you are pretty much leveled up all the way and have already fought 2 other dragons, so your dragon slaying strategy is set.

You're probably right, though Adalon is a pretty mean a$$ - put her against firkraag and I thinks she'll kick him...
She's much more pretty as well!!

The one you said are obviously powerful.....
what about Torgal??? (the troll leader in 'de Arnise hold)....you meet him really early in the game, and he's really annying sometimes.....

Torgal can be difficult. The easiest way to deal with him is go invisible and go up to him. Only he will see you and not the two other trolls there so lead him out into the other room and deal with him separately.

Personally, it took me a LONG time (first time through) to beat TorGal. I remember I eventually used traps, wand of monster summoning, fireball, and buffed up all my people...

Toughest animal in the game: the second black dragon; I know, I know, everybody's gonna say that they kille him easy cuz they were high level, but try (if u think u're that good) to CreateCreature him after beating, say, Firkraag. And, if you were one of the few to download the DRACOLICH from Dave's site, it ROCKS. It will wipe the floor with all the Dragons combined...

Toughest fight in the game: No!!! Not Kangaxx!!! (by then I was too familiar, alas, with him and with strategies on beating him). It was Tanova in the crypts. She cast both Mislead and Simulacrum, and I was too dumb to realize (again, first ime through) that both could be dispelled. Then, the casting of ONE 8th level spell really got me scared, so I had the wrong mindset when fighting her. Finally, it took me a while to not get my summons hostile. So, all in all, it took me over 15-20 tries to kill her...

I don't know I guess I'm a little diffrent cause TORGAL WAS DAMN EASY FOR ME, as Tanove was pretty mean a$$. The 2nd black dragon... I don't know I think it's a nice creature-creature with firkraag... still Adalon get's my vote... and Irencius in the palace was pretty hard(had to reload 5 times!!!!!)... Shame on me
