pickpocketing Kangaxx

I had heard that you could pickpocket Kangaxx before he turned hostile and get 2 rings of Gaxx. My problem is that he turns hostile so quickly (in nano seconds) that I don't have a chance to pickpocket him--even when Jan is standing right next to him. How do you get around this?

Try it again. Position your theif right next to where he pops up. Keep pausing the game until youcan get the pickpocket symbol to light up and then do it....I got it on my 1st try so it can't be that hard. http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
