OK, you don't like cheating. Just like me.
You don't like selling stolen expensive objects to Shadow Thieves in order to get unlimited ammount of gold coins. It's normally allowed by the game, but it looks like cheat. You don't need it. Neither do I.

However, I found a very good way to optimize
Magic Wands. When you find a wand, don't
use it, just sell it to any merchant.
He will recharge your wand to 50 or even 100
units (depending of the wand). Steal it.
You can't sell that wand any more (only
to Shadow Thieves, but this is cheat-like),
but you get 50 or 100 charges. Enjoy.
