| | And I have to have that flexibility. Run into something tough for fighters, no prob. I'm strong on mages. Encounter something magic resistant, kill it with fighters. Find a powerful lich that may be trouble, backstab and drop it in one shot and watch all the contingincies go off. Oooooh! Aaaaah!
Besides, I love creative spellcasting, so I need lots of mages to get a wide variety. That's also why I like sorcerors. |

| | Fair enough.
I find plenty of tactical flexiility with my combo. Mage & cleric are varied enough. Fighters can CQB or go ranged. Then they have plenty of flexibility in their weapons -2 handed, dual wield, shield bearers. Sooo many weaps to choose from.

| | Semi off subject, has anyone else noticed, once you get the rings of regeneration, clerics are much cooler. They no longer have to stock up on healing spells and can use those slots for cool stuff. I found the clerice were healing machines early in the game, but became much more fun as I progressed. |

| | Then your cleric/fighter gets to Draw upon Holy Might, Holy Power, Blade Barrier, and Righteous Magic himself. Not bad.
Have Aerie do this and then Tenser's Trans and Stoneskin, and all you Aerie haters just sit down. |

| | Last game played with..
1 Mage/Cleric
2 Theif/Mage
3 Sorcerer (who for the record kicks ass!)
MY Cleric was defensive, Thief was Both defensive and offensive, My sorcerer was purely offensive (kind of like Gruntboy http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/wink.gif )
Since the game is so focused on Magic use it is good to have as many Mages as you can Obtain, |

Must have to rest lots Mr Sleep? ANd why not just have mage, mage, cleric, thief, sorcerer? Why all the multi class?
Not a single fighter. Tut, tut.

| | Defensive spells are for sissies. The best defense is a good offense. In particular keep summoning- even if they are only cannon fodder at least you and your party aren't the target. |

| | I like your thinking waverly. But I attack the enemies defences first, head on. Then my fighters carve up whats vunerable.

| | My mage with a %25 killing ratio surely used for offense.
Other dual or multi class mages for defense.
Maybe next time i use a barbarian just opposite of him. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
