Cheers for all the comments.

And you're right, I will be playing as a male. Romances in general are not really for me, as I find them all to be unrealistic/unappealing at best given the time frame and the story of the game.

I think both Kivan and Xan are unromantic-content heavy, so they should suit you nicely. Some npc's lack an option for those uninterested in romances, and that's certainly a pity. I myself am completely and hopelessly in love with Kivan ( ), and I find it very hard to refuse his company as I start a new game, especially since he starts the conversation himself. This is also why I can't say a thing about Deheriana, since I never resurrect her

The 'quiet' version of course, would be to just create a multiplayer game with a clone of Ajantis there. Already have his soundset, which I use when I play a paladin PC.

As to the 3 NPCs I enquired to, I have now run two thirds of SoA with Ninafer. She's nicely done. Not overly talkative, but with enough dialogue for my tastes.
Her sound is nice.
Power wise, she has low HP due to low con and average HP rolls (the belt of fortitute is good at mitigating this issue though), but on the other hand has an unremovable ring which grants her 50% magic resistance and +2 level 5 spells and +1 level 6 spells, making her rather powerful, but not more so than Edwin or Hear Dalis...
Thanks for the good words.
