Using the Slip mod, I've been trying & trying & trying &...to pickpocket in a Promenade shop but I simply can't do it without annoying people - I won't say what or where; spoiler. How do I go about it?

As for pickpocketing--how high is the skill for the person you're using? And note, it does matter whom you're trying to pickpocket. Some are intentionally more difficult than others. There are some potions with temporary effects that can help.
