Post Nifty xp thing...

Has anyone tried this? petrify something that gives alot of xp, then stone to flesh it, and petrify it again. i was wand of wondering some people in town, and it seemed to work. so what is a high-xp low save monster?

I suppose you could wear a cloak of mirroring and let a beholder petrify itself. (I know it's not supposed to affect spells like petrify, but it does). Shield of Balduran would work too, I guess. But wouldn't you run out of stone to flesh spells rather fast?

Remember that not only you have the green protection (and stone to flesh) scrolls, but mages also have this spell in their book (or at least they can have it). If you memorise a plenty, repeat at your heart's desire.

One problem with Beholders I see in this context is that ALL damage is returned ... and since he doesn't only fire flesh to stone spells, he'll kill himself soon enough in other ways than flesh to stone. Solution: find lots of Beholders! http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
